Before law school, Josiah earned his Bachelor of Arts in Community and Criminal Justice at Conestoga College. He attained the highest GPA in a class of around 500 students graduating from Conestoga with four-year Bachelor’s
degrees, earning the President’s Scholar Award.
Josiah then completed his Juris Doctor at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. He passed the New York State bar examination while still in law school, and began practicing law in Syracuse, New York in the summer of 2017.
While working in Syracuse, Josiah passed the Ontario bar examination, and was called to the bar in 2019.
Josiah brings considerable litigation experience to KPA. Most recently, Josiah managed a busy disability benefits
caseload for over three and half years, winning a large percentage of his cases. Josiah also has litigation experience in the areas of disability discrimination cases, landlord/tenant disputes, employment law, and immigration law. He has a
sincere desire to help others, a strong attention to detail, and a serious commitment to his clients.
In his free time, Josiah enjoys walking, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. He also loves books, and enjoys reading legal dramas, spy novels, legal and military histories, and theology.
