She has worked almost exclusively in criminal law and quasi-criminal law throughout her entire legal career. She is passionate about protecting the integrity of our criminal justice system by ensuring that the system observes the constitutional rights of persons accused of crimes.

Eva has represented clients in Superior Court trials, Ontario Court trials, guilty pleas at both levels, bail hearings, and at the Court of Appeal.

She has defended clients with matters that range from simple matters, like thefts under $5000, to more serious matters, like sexual assault, aggravated assault, and importation of controlled substances.

Although Eva frequently represents clients who fund their own legal defence, if you are unable to afford Eva’s legal services, you can apply to Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) to have your legal fees covered through LAO. You can call Legal Aid Ontario directly at 1-800-668-8258.
